IFPAC/PAT Summit
June 10-12, 2008
Condado Plaza Hotel
San Juan, Puerto Rico
|
Greetings,
IFPAC and INDUNIV have planned a summit meeting on Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and Quality by Design initiatives, to be held on June 10 - 12, 2008 at the Condado Plaza Hotel, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The meeting will serve not only those that are starting to work in this area, but also to those already seasoned and familiar to these important FDA and industry initiatives. We will have plenty of new information for companies that are already involved in PAT and QbD.
Puerto Rico has a number of the leading PAT/QbD applications in the pharmaceutical industry. Representatives from Wyeth, Pfizer and Merck, will discuss several of these applications.
We have also organized the conference to deliver much more than PAT and Quality by Design. We also want this conference to be a showcase of pharmaceutical science. Gary McGeorge, at Bristol Myers Squibb, New Brunswick, NJ will deliver to the conference: "Applications of Chemical Imaging", and Scott Taylor from Abbott Labs, N. Chicago, IL will discuss Improving Pharma's Process Understanding.
We are also proud and pleased to have the participation of Dr. Christine Moore, FDA, CDER, OPS, ONDQA, Silver Spring, MD, and Rebeca Rodriquez, FDA, San Juan, PR. Stand-by for the latest from the agency on QbD, PAT, and the CMC Pilot Programs.
Our conference will involve regulatory aspects, project management, risk management, chemometrics, and a number of PAT applications. We believe that we have organized a unique conference with a holistic approach to Process Analytical Technology, Quality by Design and overall Process Understanding.
Please join us at the Condado Plaza on June 10 - 12 for this conference.
