IFPAC® - 2010
24th INTERNATIONAL FORUM AND EXHIBITION
PROCESS ANALYTICAL TECHNOLOGY
(Process Analysis & Control) - IFPAC
Jan. 31 - Feb. 4, 2010, Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.

Process Analytical Technology is one of the most exciting and important advanced technology areas meeting both the current challenges, as well as the future needs of industry. Since 1987, the IFPAC conferences have generated the enthusiastic response that resulted in the creation of this International meeting of manufacturers, researchers and industry users. Process Analytical Technology equipment and services will be on exhibit during the forum.

So please join us...meet with your colleagues...the people who are the foundation of Process Analytical Technology (PAT), Process Understanding & Control, and Real-Time Analytics. Come share in discussions, give input and get ideas for the future well being of the industry.

IFPAC-2010 WELCOME LETTER

As Co-Chairs of the IFPAC-2010 Scientific Board, we invite you to join us at IFPAC-2010. This premier event is being held January 31-February 4 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel, located within Baltimore's Inner Harbor. IFPAC is the leading conference in process analysis and technology, and this will be our 24th International Forum for Process Analytical Technology.

Process Analytical Technology is a key to an effective implementation of the Quality by Design (QbD) initiative as a way to achieve effective process understanding and control. IFPAC-2010 will be an exciting forum to learn about recent developments in the field of process analytical chemistry, technology and control applications in many different industries. Featuring over 150 presenters in a curriculum with over 20 sessions, the IFPAC-2010 program promotes multi-industry dialogue and allows for discussion of real-life applications of PAT.

The Plenary session on the first day will set the stage with a cross-section of presentations from industry, government, and academia. The various perspectives on Regulatory Concerns and how Process Analytical Technology may be utilized to improve product quality and lifecycles will be invaluable. Conference Tracks are provided covering multiple topics of interest including: QbD - Design Space, Control Strategies, Real-Time Release, Continuous Processing, Modeling, PAT & Process Control; BioProcessing, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology manufacturing, Food Safety and Analysis, Sensors and advanced instrumentation, Chemometrics and Multivariate Analyses, Emerging Techniques, Analyzer Integration, Method Reliability, and overall Process Understanding and Control.

IFPAC has a history of providing high quality presentations by analytical and process technology leaders in addressing a variety of sessions on topics including: spectroscopy, chromatography, biologics, knowledge management, handheld instrumentation, chemical imaging, and data communications. This meeting will serve not only those that are starting to work in these areas, but also to those already seasoned and familiar to these important agency and industry initiatives. This conference will be a showcase of challenges and issues in our industry with the goal of pursuing operational excellence.

A comprehensive exhibition of PAT equipment and services, workshops, poster sessions, and social events will be available throughout the conference to provide endless opportunities for networking and informal meetings.

For over 20 years IFPAC has brought together practitioners from industry, academia and government to engage in active discussion of new trends in measurement and technology. IFPAC-2010 is no different, in that you can debate with your peers to help shape the way that Process Analytical Technology will evolve. We welcome you to IFPAC-2010. Come and take advantage of this outstanding opportunity to learn about the newest technologies and regulatory guidelines while representing your organization among industry leaders. We hope to see you in January/February 2010!
